The City of Greater Sudbury is inviting both residents and business owners to participate in this year's 20-Minute Makeover, Friday, April 22, 2011.

 

Collect loose litter on your property as well as nearby public property, ( sidewalk or roadside fronting your business or residence) and place it in your commercial garbage bin or residential garbage bags.

 

Businesses that register and provide the before, during and after photographs of their clean-up efforts will have an opportunity to win a one-year recycling collection service from William Day Construction or Waste Management.

 

Residents who register and provide the before, during and after photographs of their clean-up efforts will have an opportunity to win:

 

1. A backyard composter; or
2. A "Big Blue" residential recycling curb side container; or
3. A one-year supply of certified compostable bags for the Green Cart Organics residential curb side program.

 

Participants must register at any Citizen Service Centre or visit www.greatersudbury.ca to download a registration form.

 

Registration must be completed and submitted by Tuesday, April 19th, 2011.  All participants will be asked to review safety guidelines and sign a waiver.
